OUR PASTOR

Pastor Mwandha Michael was born form a family of Law Clerk in high Court of Jinja in 1967.  The life of Pastor Mwandha Michael turned into serious suffering when the father was murdered during Amin’s regime in 1977.  I grey up as a bush boy looking after goats and cows of village people.  I could not locate where my mother was since all assets and land was grabbed and sold by the relatives and brothers of my late father.   I was denied the right of education until the regime of Dr. Milton Obote took over in 1981, that I got chance to continue with my studies when they offered free education program for orphans.  During that time was time of experiencing serious poverty and ignorance.

I used to travel a distance of 80kms to got and serve the church.  I could walk some times or the church could send in a member to come and pick on a bicycle until they bought a bicycle for me.  I had no salary in 1984, I was taken to Jinja and we began to establish Beroya Gospel Fellowship where I began as a co-founder.  We had a focus on church planting, training leaders and raising funds to buy land build up our own local church structures in remote villages.
