GIVING HAND PROJECT 

 

Introduction

Bishop Mwandha Michael has developed compassion for the oppressed children and orphans who cannot help themselves, yet is staying in a rented house at Nile Garden plot 2 in Jinja City while as serving the Busoga region in a local ministry called Beroya Gospel Fellowship since 1989 as a local pastor /Bishop.

Background

We have 15 children  whose situation is very  bad  as they cannot afford to buy  their school requirements  and pay  school fees at  both primary  and high school levels , due to the many  problem  factors  like , Bishop Michael’s  sister  died of HIV/AIDS  and  left a daughter (Rose Muwereza )  with nobody to take care of  , since  his father is the first person  who died before .  I have a girl called Fiona  whose father  is  not  any  way  and we have tried to put news announcements  but  no response  and mother  has no job  thought  she is a good  Christian  in the church  , yet  this girl has wisdom  that can  help her to be resourceful  person in  the future  if she is given  chance  of education .

Intervention

Pastor  has come  up with a fund  rising  process  under the name  called  GIVING HAND PROJECT , to see  that  he can allow God to bless these  15 children  who  are under  my  care  and responsibility  by paying  them school requirements and school fees .

Objectives

  • To make sure the children are encouraged and built their faith for good living.
  •  To rise funds for sponsoring their education.
  • To take care of  them  as way  of creating  an opportunity of living  with  spiritual  good morals  and  becoming skilled  people in  the country .

My Appeal

so , I find myself as Bishop in the ministry  meeting  all these  needs of each  individual child  which  turns up to be my  challenge  as I have heart to  help but I have no much  to  support them with. So I am requesting   everybody  who has a  hand of giving  to  give  as  the lord instructed  us  through  his  great love  and by his  grace , let everybody  share  his or her kindness and  be merciful  to  such children who deserve a right to live for an educated  life .

  The Needs are as following:

1. School fees

2. Clothes

3. Food

4. Medication.

5. Transport.

PROJECT INPUTS

In Uganda , our education  system  has three terms  in each year  and  each term  has   fees to be paid  and even  shopping  requirements ,  what is  needed to go with at school .  And the best education is found in private boarding schools which charges somehow higher than government schools. Each term a primary child is supported to pay is $200 per term. The secondary student is supported to pay $400 per term. And the University is to pay $1500 per semester and each year has 2 semesters and the course will take 3 years.
